Torch Wear by Oakley is a new line of safety glasses that operators can wear alone as primary eye protection or under welding or grinding helmets. The glasses meet ASNI Z87.1-2003 safety specifications. They include Oakley's special XYZ Optics for visual clarity at all angles. The company reports that's because XYZ Optics lens are milled from solid-plastic blanks rather than made from bent plastic sheets.
