MiniSafe Flexible MSF4700 safety light-curtains from Scientific Technologies Inc. (STI) reportedly withstand the high shock and vibration environments typical of punch presses and other heavy industry machinery. The curtains' multi-segmented design lets them protect up to four different openings by connecting up to four housings in sequence. Protected heights from 5.9 to 70.87 in. and resolutions of 0.55, 0.79, and 1.18 in. are available. Users can customize height and resolution for each light curtain segment to fit specific machines. STI reports the system's remote fixedblanking feature makes for quick set-up and change-over.
