The SGE Series safety contact strips and UM series pressure sensitive safety mats are available in yellow for enhanced visibility and worker safety. The contact strips feature molded end caps as well as wiring plugs that are inserted directly into the safety contact for simplified assembly. The co-extruded safety contact is an integral part of the profile, eliminating the need to 'fish' the safety contact into the profile. The contact is housed in and protected from damage by an outer covering of non-conductive rubber that allows actuation angels up to 90°. This construction offers low resistance, even in lengths exceeding 100 meters. The strips can be used to safeguard many hazards, including gates, doors, machines, and scissor lifts. The UM series safety mates are available in more than 150 standard and metric sizes. Standard mats are available in widths from 12 ft. to 48 ft., and lengths from 12 ft. to 72 ft. They are available with five-and 10-meter cables. Custom solutions are available for unique, nonstandard application requirements.
