The company said its PeakFit respirator has a revolutionary design and is a NIOSH-approved N95 air-purifying respirator. The company said the unit was engineered for personal comfort and safety.
The design is intended to provide an almost custom fit to enhance user comfort, while improving compliance rates and reducing safety expenses for employers.
The company said PeakFit's contoured design and ample size help make breathing easier, reducing worker fatigue and promoting compliance. The molded nose bridge fits most faces, with no need to pinch a metal nosepiece to achieve an optimum fit.
The unit has an internal nose cushion made with soft, closed-cell foam to provide a snug fit. The integrated one-piece cloth head strap with buckle is adjustable to fit any head size, and is designed to be durable. The unit has a latex-free strap.
PeakFit respirators are designed to provide protection against a variety of contaminants and are available in three versions: PeakFit for filtration against aerosols free of oils below permissible exposure limits, PeakFit OV for additional filtration against aerosols free of organic vapors below permissible exposure limits, and PeakFit AG for additional filtration against aerosols free of organic vapors and acid gases below permissible exposure limits.
