Auto-darkening helmet
Miller Electric Mfg. Co. has added the Blue Rage design to its Performance Series of auto-darkening Arc Armor welding helmets. The helmets are for professionals and hobbyists who stick, MIG or TIG weld or plasma cut. With eye-catching helmet graphics, the new design shows a “raging” fanged skull enveloped in an inferno of realistic cool blue flames. Performance Series helmets feature three arc sensors, a quick-release front cover lens holder with a rubber spatter gasket and lens controls conveniently located at the bottom of the lens.

The helmets also include Miller's Auto-On and Grind Mode features. Auto-On eliminates accidental arc flash by automatically detecting the arc even if the helmet hasn't been used for an extended amount of time. Grind mode allows the helmet to be used as a protective shield by preventing the lens from darkening while grinding.
Other features include shades No. 8-13 and light state No. 3, low 5-amp TIG, 17-oz weight and a $25 accessory package. Miller Auto-Darkening Helmets are covered by a two-year warranty.
