Thermal Dynamics' SpeedLok torch requires a half turn to engage and lock.

Also new from Thermal Dynamics is the XT-300 and XT-301 series plasma torches with a new SpeedLok attachment design to quickly install and precisely lock the consumable cartridge assembly into the torch body.

The SpeedLok torch design requires a half of a turn to fully engage and lock the cartridge retainer ring onto the torch body. The company said the design speeds up changing of consumable parts allowing users to quickly get back into production.

Previous owners of XT-300 series torches can upgrade to the new SpeedLok design by simply replacing the torch head and the retainer ring on the consumable cartridge. The threaded torch design will be obsolete and replaced by the new SpeedLok torch.
