EdgeMate and EdgeMaster upgrades from MG Systems feature a new control, drives and plasma and oxyfuel lifters.

MG Systems and Welding Inc. (www.mg-systems-welding.com) has upgraded the EdgeMate and EdgeMaster plasma and oxyfuel cutting machines with its new CNC control, the Global Control S. Based on the Global Control Plus, the Global Control S provides an easy to use touch-screen interface and the familiar Windows screen layout, allowing novice operators to quickly master machine operation. control also features Virtual Service remote diagnostic software to allow advanced troubleshooting capability to minimize down-time.

Additional upgrades to the EdgeMate and EdgeMaster include high performance drives that provide 2.3 hp (1.7 kW) motion in both the X and Y axes. A new OL-200s plasma lifter and TL-170 oxyfuel lifter (optional upgrade to the OL200 lifter) offer faster speeds and greater position accuracy than previous designs.
