Anver Corp. (www.anver.com) introduced a high-capacity, vacuum sheet and plate lifter that the company says instantly attaches and releases, prevents sagging, and picks up thin sheets that magnets cannot handle. The Anver VPE-3 series lifter features cross arms and vacuum cups that are adjustable to allow 2 in. or less of sag so sheets are kept flat and not distorted. Lifters in the series have capacities up to 40,000 lbs.
