Miller Electric Mfg Co. (www.millerwelds.com) designed its new Spectrum 365 X-treme plasma cutter for applications that need a portable machine with a 3/8-in. cut rating on mild steel and 1/4-in. on aluminum (115V/20A or 230V service). Rated cutting capacity is the speed at which an operator achieves a smooth, steady cut at 10 ipm. The company says the internal filter and factory-set regulator eliminate the need for the operator to adjust the air pressure.

Miller also has integrated its Millermatic 350 and 350P inverter power sources and Centerfire consumables with the Bernard (www.bernardwelds.com) Q300 MIG gun. The company says the Q300 delivers the same performance as the previously bundled Roughneck 4012 gun, but the Q300 is designed to be lighter in weight and to run cooler.
