Maxpro Technologies (www.maxprotech.com) has designed a hose test bench capable of performing tests to 60,000 psi.

The unit is equipped with two Maximator air driven liquid pumps. One is designed for operations from 4,500 to 30,000 psi; the second is designed for operations from 30,000 to 60,000 psi.

The system is operated from a touch screen panel that controls a programmable logic controller. The company says safety devices are included to prevent operation in unsafe conditions. The system also can be operated manually. The unit's lighted stainless steel test chamber measures 60 in. by 48 in. by 46 in., and is equipped with a counterbalanced lifting door that provides easy access to the test chamber. The overall dimensions of the test bench are 90 in. by 104 in. by 48 in.
