Rex-cut Products Inc. (www.rexcut.com) introduced a kit that contains a 4 1/2-in. diameter grinding wheel for aggressively removing heavy welds on stainless steel, and a 4 1/2-in. cotton-fiber Type 27 wheel for blending and finishing the weld. The Rex-Cut Grind and Blend Kit for stainless steel includes a Sigma Green grinding wheel that features a zirconia-ceramic grain and a special bonding. The company says this wheel cuts up to 50 percent faster than a traditional aluminum oxide wheel.
