Behringer Saws Inc. (www.behringersaws.com) enlarged the gripper feed unit to three meters (about 9.82 ft.) on its HBP-413A-3000 automatic bandsaw. The new motorized gripper feed unit has a single stroke of up to 118 in. (3,000 mm), and is designed with a linear rail and linear bearings mounted on the fixed vise jaw side of the band-saw. The unit cuts solids up to 16-in. in diameter, and rectangular shapes up to 19.7-in. wide by 15.7-in. high. The transport speed of the gripper feed unit is adjustable up to 39.3 ft. per min. and 98 ft. per min. in reverse.
