Metabo Corp. (www.metabo.com) introduced a 12-gauge shear for burr-free cutting, shearing and trimming of sheet metal and plastic. The KU6870 converts from a portable tool to a stationary one when mounted upside down on a tool bench. Also, the company says the shear's head and drop-forged base ensure accurate cutting. The blades have four edges that do not require sharpening or adjustment.
