ESI Group (www.esi-group.com) released the latest version of its PAM-Assembly software package that is designed to help designers and production planners to determine the best welding fabrication solution from the design stage through the manufacturing stage. The software uses a five-step methodology that does not require an advanced knowledge of finite element analysis. The Welding Simulation Solution includes singlepass welding, multi-pass welding, spot welding, friction welding and friction-stir welding.
