PRIMA North America (www.prima-na.com) introduced a 2-D laser cutting system called Syncrono that features a special laser head designed with two additional small, linear-driven, parallel kinematic axes on the moving gantry. The company says the additional drives allow the cutting head to cut at an acceleration of up to 6G and to cut more than 1,000 holes per minute.
