Scotchman Industries' (www.scotchman.com) says combining its new Advanced Feed Systems with Scotchman circular cold saws turns a semi-automatic machine into a fully automated production machine. The company says the feed system moves material into position, clamps the material, and cycles the machine with ±0.004-in. repeatable accuracy. Operators may manually enter dimensions into the controller or pull a cut list from the controller, which stores up to 99 programs. Also, a cut list can be downloaded from a PC.
