Hypertherm Inc. (www.hypertherm.com) replaced all versions of its Voyager products with a new six-axis, thermalcutting machine controller that the company says boosts performance and enhances flexibility. Voyager III features a 15-in. touch-screen display, a 2.4 GHz Intel processor and Hypertherm Automation CNC software version 6.0. The interface for the controller converts Serial Real Time Communications (SERCOS) fiber optic communications to analog interface for motion commands and input/output.
