Sawblades sport special tips

Morse's Metal Devil circular sawblades with special metallurgy and tooth configuration reportedly cut metal quickly, cleanly, and coolly. According to the company, tests indicate the blades cut through 6 X 1 /4 in. steel plate in an average of less than 12 sec and 2 X 2- 1 /4 in. angle iron in less than 6 sec. The blades tungsten and titanium carbide cutting tips almost eliminate sparks during cutting and minimize heat transfer to the material.

The blades come 5 3 /8 to 14-in. diameter for cordless and corded saws. Various tooth styles are available for cutting steel, aluminum, thin steel, and stainless steel.
