With the direct digitization feature, operators can "draw" on a part with the laser to locate the part feature positions not detected by a regular scan. It also outlines formed areas on parts, or holes that do not go through a part.
The company reports LaserQC's composite inspection feature simplifies and speeds measurement of bolt-holes and similar concentric patterns. In addition to thin materials, the system scans parts up to 8-in. thick.
