Stepped teeth increase sawblade life
Invader-X bandsaw blades with powdered-metal HSS tips feature a stepped-tooth pattern. The tooth-height design gradually increases, then decreases, in a long wave to provide durability when sawing wide, hard-to-cut alloys susceptible to workhardening. Blade speeds can be increased without causing saw-head chatter. The positive-rake tooth profile aggressively penetrates workpieces. Tests show increased production when sawing Inconel, Hastalloy, Monel, Waspalloy, and titanium.
