LD series I.D./O.D. gages feature high-strength stainless steel tubular frames which are report-edly 8% lighter and 14% stronger than standard steel. Two types of motion controls are available for diameters and lengths from 4 to 80 in. Both gages feature a cam-lock fine-adjustment mechanism.

The LDB gages use ball-bushing slides with a full inch of gaging travel and up to 12 in. of diameter adjustment. The LWR series uses pantograph motion transfer, which allows for 0.050-in. travel and up to 12-in. diameter adjustment.
