According to the manufacturer, the machine's Nanosecond PREview 640 PC control and Hyperlinear drives let it cut quickly and precisely enough to maintain corners, tight dimensional accuracy, and roundness on contours. Special aircooled linear motors and stainless, sealed protection covers require no chillers or bellows.
As part of the HyperGear's intelligent-maintenance-notification system, sensors — such as those in the internal and external beam-delivery systems — alert operators in advance of needed maintenance. There is also intelligent nozzle inspection and cleaning.
