Angle-cutting bandsaw
DoAll's 500-SNC general-purpose bandsaw sports a swiveling saw head for miter cuts up to 45°. An inverter-controlled 3-hp motor drives the 1 1 /4-in. blade at infinitely variable speeds from 50 to 400 fpm. The units feature operator consoles for entering stock size, cut-piece length, band speed, and feedrate. The company reports its features such as a single automatic index length of 40 in., multiple indexing for lengths up to 320 in. (as many as 8 times) with automatic kerf compensation, a work-height sensor that automatically raises the saw head just enough to let the material pass through, and a vice-speed control result in high sawing productivity. The DoALL 500-SNC cuts rectangular stock up to 14 3 19-in. wide at 90°, or up to 14 3 14-in. wide and 14-in. diameter rounds at 45°.
