Esco Mongoose Millhogs are right-angle-drive I.D. clamping tools for beveling, facing, or boring ends of stainless steel and highly alloyed boiler tube from ⁵ /8-in. I.D. to 3-in. O.D. The tool features affixed wrenches that attach and feed a self-centering draw rod. A push-pull clamp and release mechanism pushes clamps off the mandrel. The ² /3-hp motor powers the tool, which is 2 ¹ /4-in. wide and weighs 13 lb. It accepts different TiN-coated cutting bits and produces a thick chip without cutting oils.
