PosiDrive's preprogrammed servo systems tackle applications such as flying shear, cut-to-length, in-line tube cutoff, and others. They use a touchscreen interface (TSI) for setup and tuning. The TSI also monitors components, reports faults, and provides a fault history for trend analysis. The system features a 450-V servomotor and a digital amplifier/controller. An optional multi-axis package lets the system control up to eight drives from one screen, and comes with an ethernet connection and Linux operating system.
