The Autoform+ CNC forming center press brake precisely bends complex or simple parts from sheetmetal or plate with American or European tooling. The machine's Windows-based computer provides bend-simulation graphics, automatic calculations of ram reversal, and gage allowances. A graphic tool library stores tool dimensions and displays tool views for selecting correct tools. The software produces parts three ways — by creating text programs, importing CAD drawings, or drawing from scratch, and automatically compensates for material thickness in computing bend angles and adjusting for ram position. An ethernet port connects to computer networks, letting part programs download to the press. Models are available in 60, 90, 135, 175, 230, and 350 ton with bed lengths from 6 to 16 ft.
