The Tabor 20-in. enclosed abrasive saw for cutting metallurgical samples features an oscillating head for increasing production without heat-treating parts. Oscillation goes from 1 to 4 in. Wheels are available in 16 to 36-in. sizes. The machine cuts wet or dry with a two-speed motor so abrasive wheels increase speed as they wear, increasing cutting efficiency.
