Scotchman's new FI 8510-20M ironworkers boast five built-in stations and 85-ton punch capacities. Units' 10-in. throat depth punch 1 ¹ /16 in. holes in 1 in. material. Features include 6 X 6 ¹ /2 in. angle shears, rod shears that handle 1 ³ /8 in.-round and 1 ¹ /4 in.-square rod, and rectangular notchers that make 3 X 5 ¹ /2 in. notches. And 20-in. flat-bar shears feature a low rake angle that tackles up to 1 X 12 in. and ³ /4 X 20 in. material.

The onboard, wireless, electronic Shockswitch RF Hourmeter measures run hours for equipment, machines, and vehicles, such as engines, compressors, welders, and forklifts. The meter monitors three independent inputs — keyswitch, drive motor, and hydraulic motor, sending the information via a wireless network to local or remote computers running the companion software. The device sends maintenance-requirement alerts via e-mail.
