The Microgage Bore Alignment Kit containes a laser used to align extrusion presses, rams, shafts, and machines. The laser, available in 2.250 or 1.0-in. diameters and held in the bore, toolholder, chuck or shaft mount, projects a reference beam to a digital receiver held in a mount with a similar precision bore diameter. Measurement readings, as small as 0.0001 in., then transmit to a hand-held display guiding the user for bore or shaft alignment. The system measures over an 80 ft range.
