A time-and cost-saving self-propelled plate edge beveller bevels the under-side of a work piece at 10 ft. per minute enables beveling the bottom edge of the plate without the need to lift the flip plate. The GMB-18U comes with the exclusive Adjustable Height undercarriage eliminating heavy lifting of the unit. All four wheels on the undercarriage float provide for self-propelled operation and an even bevel on any length of plate, regardless of uneven surfaces. The beveller has an adjustable bevel head and is supplied with bevel angle pins for 22 ¹ /2°, 30°, 37 ¹ /2°, 45°, and 55° bevels. The unit imparts a clean, machined bevel with no thermal distortion on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum plate from ¹ /4 in. to 1 ¹ /2 in. thick. Other bevel angle pins are available on request.
