Laser Marker
The new LMV1000
diode-pumped Nd:YVO4 laser marker is designed to produce finer and
smaller marks on ever-decreasing part real estate as in the
electronics and medical industries. The unit employs different
crystal lasing medium, YVO4, as well as the ability to pump the
laser through the end of the crystal rather than from the side.
This method offers a number of advantages such as: increased lasing
efficiency; higher peak power; shorter Q-switch pulse durations;
and a better beam quality. The increased beam quality and higher
power density results in finer line thickness, smaller
character/feature sizes, and faster, higher contrast marks on
metals and plastics. This advanced laser can produce line widths
down to 20 microns, character sizes of 100 microns, and data matrix
codes with 20-micron cell sizes.
