Ergonomic Work Positioner
An
electro-hydraulic work positioner, designed to place parts within
ergonomically accessible reach of the operator, has been developed.
The Model LTN1 Electro-Hydraulic Work Positioner eliminates
repetitive bending by a worker to position or retrieve components,
thereby minimizing risk of operator injury, improving production
efficiency, increasing employee comfort, and reducing the potential
for part damage as they are positioned or removed from the
container. According the company, the positioner design is
different from others, because as it raises, it moves away from the
operator during the tilting operation, thereby minimizing any
intrusion into the operator's work area. This makes the machine
