The Millhog Dictator Hydraulic I.D. Clamping Tool from Esco Tool is a new, hydraulic version of its I.D. clamping, welding-end prep tool. For in-the-field machining of up to 20-in. diameter Schedule 160 pipe, the tool features only eight sets of clamps for its full working range. Providing 6,500 ft-lb of torque, it is well-suited for machining tough materials such as chrome-molybdenum pipe and stainless steel without the use of cutting lubricants. The tool uses standard TiN-coated cutter blades and adapts to a full-range of hydraulic power packs.
