Control system for oxyfuel cutting
According to MG
Systems, its Omniflow automatic gas-control systems let even novice
operators obtain excellent oxyfuel cutting performance. After the
operator selects material thickness on the control screen, the
system automatically sets the correct preheat oxygen, cutting
oxygen, and fuel gas pressures. The Omniflow also sets parameters
for automatic piercing. The system then notifies the operator of
the correct kerf width via a display screen.

The company says this results in consistent cutting and precise, automatic piercing for mild steel up to 5-in. thick or up to 12 in. with edge start. For fine-tuning, operators can access the spreadsheet database. The Omniflow can deliver enough gas flow to cut up to 54 torch-inches — equivalent to eight torches simultaneously cutting 8-in.-thick materials.
