Rapido 3-D laser cutting system features an automatic focal position control (FPC) that manages the laser's focal position according to the application and controls the head position throughout the entire production process. This means that no set-up changes are needed when changing material types and thickness. A special Safe Impact Projection System (SIPS) protects the cutting head, nozzle, and sensor from damage due to errors causing interference between the head and work piece. In addition, Rapido's proprietary Join-It system lets the user easily reconfigure the cutting head for welding applications. Rapidos can also be equipped with CO2 lasers with 2,500 W, 3,500 W, or 4,000 W power.
