Vogel's Arc-Fit notching tools let welders easily notch the ends of tubes or pipes for a welded 90° fit-up on the jobsite. The tools are powered with a hand press that mounts on the trailer hitch of a work truck. The hitch mount fits standard 2-in. square hitch receivers and can be retrofitted to any Arc-Fit #1400 hand press made in the past 20 yr. Available with or without the new mount, the hand presses notch with quick-change punch and die assemblies. A second strike completes the part end, now ready to mate with the 00 of another tube or pipe.
