Laser Turning Mirrors

A full line of CO2 laser turning mirrors and phase retardation reflectors for use with 25 to 200 W industrial laser systems is available. The mirrors are optimized for 10.6 µm at 45° AOI and offered in 1 /2 in. to 3 in. dia. sizes with +0.000 in./-0.005 in. tolerance and 2 to 10 mm thickness. Made from molybdenum, silicon, and silicon with enhanced copper-, silver-, or DBMR dual band polarization controlled reflectance coatings; they exhibit less than 2 percent absorption and scatter losses. Suitable for engraving, welding, cutting, hole drilling, and marking applications, the mirrors provide 98 percent average reflectance and are ideal where frequent cleaning is required and the silicon mirrors and reflectors provide an average reflectance of more than 99.5 to 99.7 percent.
