PRIMA North America (www.prima-na.com) introduced a 2-D laser cutting system called Syncrono that features a special laser head designed with two additional small, linear-driven parallel kinematic axes on the moving gantry. The company says the additional drives allow the cutting head to cut at an acceleration of up to 6 G and more than 1,000 holes per minute.
