A news item on March 4 reported that welding courses are the most popular training courses commissioned by the Labour Market Board of Estonia.

The news item said the Baltic nation has waiting lists that run for several months to get seats for the courses, and it attributed that demand to the fact that there is ample work available for trained welders in that country.

The item said schools in the Estonian capital — Tallinn — cannot train more than 30 welders per month, while the numbers of those who have requested welding training is several times higher.
