The Impactor 9.6, 12, and 14.4-V series of cordless drivers reportedly provide speed, power, and comfort for fastening and light drilling. The 14.4-V unit delivers 1,150 in./lb of torque, the 12 gives 1,050 in./lb and the 9.6 -V units 950 in./lb. All models operate at 2,800 rpm and 3,200 bpm. They are compact units only 6 ¹ /2-in long, weighing less than 4 lb. Their hammer and anvil systems do not kickback, twisting the user's arm or wrist. The Impactor's soft grip, balance, and ergonomic construction is claimed to increase comfort. The drivers sport ¹ /4-in. hex quick-change chucks for instant bit-changes from driver to drill bits.
