The Model 9000 bevel-mill cuts up to 1 ³ / 16-in. bevels for weld preparation beveling. The unit uses standard carbide inserts in a milling cutter to bevel most machinable materials including mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. The mill is self-supporting on the workpiece and is hand-fed by the operator along the edge of the plate at up to 6 ft/min. Units feature variable-angle adjustments from 15° to 45°.
