A line of high-accuracy replacement nozzles for popular CO₂ cutting lasers, compatible with mechanical or sensor heads, has been introduced by Laser Research Optics (www.laserresearch/.com).

LRO CO2 Laser Nozzles are available with 1.2-mm, 1.5-mm, 2.0-mm, 3.0-mm orifices with ±10-µm orifice-size accuracy to optimize cutting performance. Compatible with mechanical or sensor heads, they are offered with straight and tapered tips in lengths from 0.375 in. to 0.96 in. and with thread sizes from 0.250 in. to 0.625 in.

They are machined from brass, copper, aluminum and ceramic, and are designed to be nozzles are suitable replacements for Mitsubishi, Prima, Laserdyne, and other CO₂ lasers. Brass nozzle lock rings are optional.
