ESI Introduces Welding Simulation Suite Version 2009

ESI Group has released its Welding Simulation Suite, version 2009, which includes Weld Planner, the first program for quick evaluation of numbers and positions of welds, clamping conditions, and designs; and PAM-Assembly, used to validate the preliminary decisions taken. Weld Planner is dedicated to GUI, but is easy to use and simulates speed to meet the requirements of product and process design.

Weld Planner is dedicated to GUI, but is easy to use and simulates speed to meet the requirements of product and process design. It also allows finding the best possible design in the shortest possible time range. PAM-Assembly takes the complete physics of the material and computes it into local models, thus feeding the global model used to compute the overall distortion. The computational effort is reduced from months to minutes, without losing any precision.

The 2009 version is embedded in a complete CAE environment, including dedicated meshing and post-processing tools. ESI also offers one-day training, including a step-by-step getting started session to help users get the job done.
