Privately held Swagelok Co. reports it has acquired RHPS B.V. in a strategy to expand its range of products and services for customers in fluid system technology markets worldwide. This includes oil-and-gas refining, chemical and petrochemical production, alternative fuel production, semiconductor manufacturing, and biopharmaceutical production, among others.

The terms of the purchase have not been disclosed. “We are excited to welcome the RHPS team to Swagelok,” stated Swagelok president and CEO Arthur F. Anton. “We think the two cultures are a natural fit and have similar values including the passion to truly understand the needs of our customers and act on them.”

RHPS is a Nieuw-Vennep, Netherlands-based manufacturer of pressure regulators in various styles, including spring loaded, dome loaded, pneumatically loaded and electronically controlled. It also produces filters, relief valves, panels, and custom-built products.

Its manufacturing facilities are certified to ISO 9001-2008. All RHPS bar stock regulators are supplied with material certificates to EN10204/3.1, on request.

Anton said RHPS will allow Swagelok to offer a more robust regulator portfolio.

Swagelok develops and manufactures products and assemblies, and provides services for research, instrumentation, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, power, petrochemical, alternative fuels, and semiconductor industries worldwide.
