Worthington Industries Inc.'s metal framing business — Dietirch Metal Framing — has formed a strategic alliance with Bailey Metal Products Ltd., including the sale of the Canadian subsidiary to Bailey. The agreement names Bailey the executive distributor of Dietrich's proprietary and vinyl products in Canada,

“The alliance with Bailey will allow us to focus our sales efforts on the U.S. market while broadening our product reach in Canada,” said president of Dietrich Metal Framing John Roberts. “We look forward to utilizing our existing facilities and distribution channels to benefit both companies.”

The sale includes two manufacturing facilities — in Burnaby, BC and Mississauga, ON — and two sales and distribution centers — in LaSalle, PQ, and Edmonton, AB.
