Stoody, a designer and manufacturer of hardfacing and joining welding electrodes, is changing the way its customers’ orders are processed, eliminating the need for them to place separate purchase orders for Stoody and other Thermadyne products. Customers will be able to order all Thermadyne-branded products on a single purchase order, with the total order being applied to free freight minimums.

The changes are intended to expedite customers’ transactions by providing a single “remit to,” simplifying the payment process.

Stoody also announced it is reducing prices on all position and flat horizontal, flux-cored stainless wires, through June 31, 2010.

Interested customers should contact a local Thermadyne representative, or call 1-800-426-1888, for details and pricing.

Stoody products include iron, nickel, cobalt, tungsten carbide- and vanadium carbide-based alloys. It’s a unit of Thermadyne Holdings, which manufactures metal cutting and welding products and accessories under various brand names, including Victor, Tweco, Arcair, Thermal Dynamics, Thermal Arc, Stoody, TurboTorch, Firepower and CIGWELD.
