Trumpf Canada appoints managing director

James Rogowski has been appointed managing director of Trumpf Canada.

Trumpf Inc. (www.us.trumpf.com) recently acquired the remaining shares of Advanced Fabricating Machinery that serves the Canadian market as a sales and spare parts facility for Trumpf products.

Rogowski is responsible for managing the day to day operations and all sales and service activity in Canada. He reports to Rolf Biekert, president and chief executive officer of Trumpf Inc.

Rogowski began his career with Trumpf in 1998 as an applications engineer in its punch product sales department. He served the company in various positions, most recently as product manager of 2D laser machines and automation.

Rogowski is relocating to the Toronto area with his wife and daughter.

Trumpf produces fabricating machinery and lasers used for industrial production technology.

Weiler Corp. adds vice president for sales and marketing

Weiler Corp. (www.weilercorp.com) has named Jim McDaniel as its new vice president for sales and marketing.

McDaniel joins Weiler from Cooper Industries, and has a background that includes marketing, domestic and international sales, global product development, and brand management.

Throughout his career he held a series of increasingly responsible sales and marketing positions, most recently as vice president of marketing and business development.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Distribution Engineering from Texas A&M and an MBA from the University of Phoenix with an emphasis in Global Management.

Weiler Corporation, headquartered in Cresco, Pa., is a manufacturer of power and abrasive nylon brushes, abrasives and maintenance products, providing world-class service and surface conditioning solutions.
