Welding equipment supplier Miller Electric Mfg. has launched a new induction heating resource site that includes basic process videos, application-specific time-to-temperature calculators, and more than a dozen industry-specific application suggestions.
Highlights of the new site include an illustration of how induction heating reduces preheat time by as much as 400%; technical descriptions and creative application suggestions; and a free CD-Rom that includes codes, procedures, safety information, and technical data on induction heating and Miller’s newest heating system, ProHeat 35.
“The new site meets the needs of fabricators and contractors who asked for more information on how the process works, and guidance on how the new Proheat System can be applied to their heating applications. The site contains information for those examining induction technology for the first time, as well as people looking to improve an existing application,” said marketing manager, Mike Roth.
