ESAB Welding & Cutting Products , Florence, SC, named Andrew Masterman as its new president and CEO. Masterman replaces Brendan Colgan who becomes chairman of The ESAB Group Inc. and will assume additional responsibilities as Operations Director for ESAB Global.

Masterman was previously president of Metalico's Platinum Group Metals division, and was also president with Spartan Light Metals, TI Automotive, and Walbro Corp. He has also been in senior financial roles with Intel Corp.'s server business unit.

“Andrew Masterman possess a diverse background, primarily within the metals business sectors,” said Colgan. “I feel confident that we will accomplish a smooth transition, and that I am leaving the company in the hands of an experienced business professional who will provide the leadership needed to meet the needs of the future.”
