The cutting centers are travelled through North America to show people how easy, productive, and fun it is to cut with plasma.
In addition, the cutting centers feature the latest plasma technology and innovation such as the company's Powermax30 and Powermax1250 systems, and its fully integrated PowermaxEDGE mechanized cutting system.
“While on the road, we are constantly approached by people interested in learning more about plasma. People want to see the newest technology and learn how to optimize their current system,” Jeff Deckrow, Hypertherm's North American director, said.
“The new Hypertherm Mobile Cutting Centers make it easier for us to do just that. It enables people to receive personalized demonstrations as well as touch and use some of the world's best plasma arc metal cutting systems,” he added.
The Cutting Centers started their summer tour at the Golden State Classic Auto Race July 12 in Southern California, and stopped a variety of events, including NASCAR and other sports car races, an agricultural progress day in Rock Springs, Pa., the Commonwealth Supply Open House in Hanover, Pa., and the Oxygen Service event in St. Paul, Minn.
A schedule of the stops for the Cutting Centers is available on the company's Internet site, www.hypertherm.com.
